Pamela has dedicated her legal career to property insurance law and fighting for justice for her clients. For Pamela, insurance claims are more than legalese and policy jargon. She’s witnessed firsthand the devastation that hurricanes, floods, and other disasters can bring, transforming one’s haven into a place of stress and uncertainty.
Pamela fights relentlessly for her clients. She doesn’t just navigate the complexities of insurance policies; she meticulously investigates claims, uncovering hidden clauses and exposing inconsistencies in denials. Pamela is a fierce negotiator, but, when necessary, she isn’t afraid to take insurance giants to court; her unwavering determination a shield against their delaying tactics.
Throughout the legal process, Pamela keeps her clients informed and empowered. She understands the emotional toll these cases can take, and she provides unwavering support every step of the way. For Pamela, a victory isn’t just a won case; it’s seeing her client’s home or business restored, the familiar comfort returning, and the feeling of security back where it belongs.
Originally raised in New York, Pamela lived for over a decade in Pennsylvania and now enjoys the warm weather that Florida has to offer. Outside the courtroom, Pamela enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Pamela is admitted to practice law in the State of Pennsylvania and the State of Florida.
When insurance companies play games, Pamela is ready. She has seen many unjust tactics played out by insurance companies who attempt to deny legitimate claims. One of the most ruthless of them all? When companies renew policies on properties with older roofs, only to later deny claims on those same roofs because “the roof is too old.”
Pamela believes a home is more than just property; it’s a sanctuary. That’s why she treats every client with compassion and respect. She takes the time to understand her clients’ unique situation and keeps them informed throughout the entire legal process.
Insurance companies often employ delay tactics, leaving homeowners stressed and financially burdened while their homes remain damaged. Pamela understands the urgency of these situations and is dedicated to holding insurance companies accountable for their unfair practices.
Pamela understands the frustration that can arise during the legal process. While everyone desires a quick resolution, insurance companies can be slow to respond, and the court system is often congested. That’s why she believes in setting realistic expectations from the beginning.
“What frustrates me the most are the insurance companies that play a waiting game. They deny claims and delay payments, hoping policyholders will simply give up. There’s a human cost to these tactics. Living in a damaged home is physically and emotionally draining, often forcing people to choose between repairs and basic necessities.
“I remember a client who was really put through the ringer. The client’s roof had been severely damaged. It was obvious he needed a new roof but his insurance company had gone bankrupt and was no longer in business. Now he was left with a severely damaged roof and no coverage by his insurance company. Luckily there is a government entity, Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA), that acts as a safety net for policyholders in these unfortunate circumstances. But even FIGA came with its own waiting game – an automatic stay of six months, followed by another potential six-month wait – before my client’s claim would be addressed.
“I understood the double whammy my client was facing. I dove into the case with the determination to secure him a new roof as quickly as possible. I reviewed every single detail of the case so that as soon as FIGA assigned its own attorney to the case, I was able to quickly get a fair resolution for my client. In the end, FIGA agreed to provide funds for a new roof.
For me, this case is a prime example of why I fight so hard for my clients. It wasn’t just about winning a legal battle; it was about alleviating the human cost of waiting. For my client, a new roof meant more than just protection from the elements; it meant a restored sense of security and a victory over the anxieties of an uncertain future.”
Please note: We currently only work with clients who have property damage insurance claims (no auto claims or uninsured claims).
