Emmanuel Charles is an insurance litigation attorney. He represents property owners and businesses who help property owners pursuant to an assignment of benefits. He also represents property owners whose properties have been damaged due to another person’s negligence.
Emmanuel also has prior experience litigating personal injury, employment, and premises liability cases. Furthermore, he has practiced in various areas of civil litigation such as foreclosure, business, and real estate.
Prior to joining Florida Professional Law Group, Emmanuel was practicing as a civil litigator in first party property insurance cases on behalf of both insureds and insurance companies throughout the state of Florida.
While at the University of Oklahoma’s College of Law, Emmanuel participated in various competitions including the Board of Advocates Negotiation Competition and the Nelson Mandela International Negotiation Competition. He was also Vice Justice of their Phi Alpha Delta chapter and Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, where he led the chapter to win the National Black Law Student Association Small Chapter of the Year.
In addition, Emmanuel served in the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida as a Summer Law Clerk in the Complex Business Litigation Division for The Honorable John W. Thornton, Jr. He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics, Political Science, and Social Science from Florida State University.
Emmanuel is admitted to practice law in all Florida State courts. He is determined to protect the rights of homeowners whose lives have been disrupted by property damage from an insured or negligent event.
Outside of the courtroom, Emmanuel enjoys listening to and playing music, spending time with his family and friends, and weightlifting. Other interests include following the latest in scientific and business news. Emmanuel has lived in South Florida for most of his life and is an avid supporter of his local sports teams.
